Getting started as an employer

Post your first role, add your venue profile, and receive applications in about ten minutes.

Welcome to Tavro. Here's how to post your first role and start receiving applications.

1. Post your first job

Go to Dashboard → Post a Job. You'll be asked for:

  • Role title (e.g. "Weekend Bartender")
  • Location and suburb
  • Employment type (casual, part-time, full-time, contract)
  • Salary — this is required. A range is fine (e.g. $28–34/hr). Workers apply based on transparent salary; hiding it kills your response rate.
  • Requirements (RSA, experience, availability)
  • Description — or click Generate with AI to draft it from a short brief

Publish, and your listing goes live immediately.

2. Complete your venue profile

Go to Venue Profile. Add:

  • Venue name and type (café, restaurant, bar, hotel, pub, etc.)
  • 3–6 venue photos — workers respond better to venues that show themselves
  • A short description (a paragraph is plenty)
  • Social links (Instagram, Facebook, website)

Venues with photos and a description get significantly more applications.

3. Review applicants

New applications appear in Dashboard → Applications. For each applicant you can:

  • See structured profile info (certifications, work rights, availability)
  • Message them directly
  • Move them through the pipeline: Applied → Shortlisted → Interviewed → Hired / Rejected

4. Reply within 48 hours

If you respond to applications within 48 hours, we mark you as a Fast Responder. Workers see this on your venue profile and are more likely to apply next time.
