Terms of Service

Effective date: 3 July 2026 · Last updated: 3 July 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and Tavro ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

Tavro is a hiring platform that connects hospitality workers with hospitality employers across Australia. The service includes job listings, worker profiles, employer venue profiles, direct messaging, and application management tools.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Tavro. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older and are either legally permitted to work in Australia or are authorised to employ people in Australia (as applicable to your role on the platform).

3. Your Account

You are responsible for:

  • The accuracy of the information you provide when registering and in your profile
  • Keeping your login credentials confidential
  • All activity that occurs under your account

If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, notify us promptly at hello@tavro.com.au.

You may only hold one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent a suspension or otherwise misuse the platform is a breach of these Terms and may result in permanent removal of all associated accounts.

4. Content You Submit

By submitting content to Tavro — including profile information, job listings, messages, and reviews — you confirm that:

  • The content is accurate and does not infringe the rights of any third party
  • You grant Tavro a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, index, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating the service
  • You retain ownership of your content

We may remove content that violates our community guidelines or these Terms without prior notice.

5. Free to Use

Tavro is currently free for both workers and employers. If we introduce paid features in the future, we will notify registered users at least 30 days in advance of any change to the free nature of core features.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use Tavro to:

  • Post false, misleading, or discriminatory job listings or profile information
  • Harass, threaten, or demean other users
  • Scrape or systematically collect data from the platform without permission
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account or system
  • Conduct hiring in breach of Australian employment law
  • Send spam or unsolicited commercial communications

7. Limitation of Liability

Tavro is a marketplace connecting workers and employers. We do not verify the employment or visa status of workers beyond what workers self-disclose, or the credentials and conduct of employers beyond what appears on their venue profile. We do not guarantee that any listing will result in a hire, or that any profile will result in employment.

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Tavro is not liable for the conduct of employers or workers on or off the platform, employment outcomes arising from use of the platform, or loss of income or opportunity resulting from account suspension or termination.

8. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these Terms. We will generally give notice before doing so unless the circumstances require immediate action to protect the platform or other users.

You may close your account at any time via Account Settings. Deletion anonymises your data immediately and permanently removes it within 30 days.

9. Privacy

Your use of Tavro is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email with at least 14 days' notice. Continuing to use the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of courts in New South Wales.
