Terms of Service

Effective date: 13 July 2026 · Last updated: 13 July 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and Tavro("Tavro", "we", "our", "us"), the operator of the Tavro platform (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. The Service

Tavro is an online marketplace that helps hospitality workers and hospitality employers (venues) in Australia find one another. The Platform provides job listings, worker profiles, venue profiles, direct messaging, and application-management tools.

Tavro is not an employer, employment agency, labour-hire provider, or recruiter, and is not a party to any application, engagement, contract, or employment relationship between workers and employers. We do not participate in interviews, hiring decisions, pay, or the terms of any engagement. Any arrangement you enter into with another user is solely between you and that user.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Tavro. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that you are either legally permitted to work in Australia or authorised to employ people in Australia (as applicable to your role on the Platform).

3. Your Account

You are responsible for:

  • The accuracy of the information you provide when registering and in your profile or listings
  • Keeping your login credentials confidential and secure
  • All activity that occurs under your account

If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, notify us promptly at hello@tavro.com.au.

You may hold only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent a suspension or otherwise misuse the Platform is a breach of these Terms and may result in permanent removal of all associated accounts.

4. Content You Submit

You retain ownership of the content you submit — including profile information, job listings, messages, and reviews. By submitting content, you confirm and agree that:

  • The content is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe or violate the rights of any third party
  • You grant Tavro a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, display, index, and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the Platform
  • Where you provide another person's personal information — for example, a professional referee's name and contact details — you have that person's consent to provide it and for us to contact them (for a referee, to confirm the reference)

We may remove or restrict content that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms or applicable law, or that is false, misleading, or harmful, and we may do so without prior notice where appropriate.

5. Free to Use

Tavro is currently free for both workers and employers. If we introduce paid features in the future, we will notify registered users at least 30 days before any change to the free nature of core features.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use Tavro to:

  • Post false, misleading, discriminatory, or unlawful job listings or profile information
  • Harass, threaten, defame, or demean other users
  • Upload or share another person's personal information without their consent
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically collect data from the Platform without our written permission
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or data
  • Conduct hiring or employment in breach of Australian employment or anti-discrimination law
  • Send spam, or unsolicited commercial or recruitment communications
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Platform or its infrastructure

7. Verification & Third-Party Dealings

Tavro does not independently verify the identity, qualifications, employment or visa status of workers, or the credentials, legitimacy, or conduct of employers, beyond what users self-disclose or what tools on the Platform indicate. Where the Platform shows a "verified" indicator (such as a confirmed reference), it reflects a specific, limited check only and is not a guarantee of a person's suitability or conduct. You are responsible for making your own enquiries and decisions before entering into any arrangement, including any checks required by law.

8. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability for a failure to comply with such a guarantee can be limited, our liability is limited (at our option) to re-supplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Subject to section 8, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Tavro is not liable for:

  • The conduct, acts, or omissions of any employer or worker, on or off the Platform
  • Employment or engagement outcomes, or any decision made by an employer or worker
  • The accuracy or completeness of user-submitted content
  • Any loss of income, opportunity, data, or goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss
  • Interruptions to, or errors in, the Platform, or loss arising from account suspension or termination

10. Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Tavro against any loss, liability, or cost arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or your unlawful or negligent use of the Platform, except to the extent the loss is caused by Tavro.

11. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms. We will generally give notice before doing so, unless the circumstances require immediate action to protect the Platform or other users.

You may close your account at any time via Account Settings. Deletion anonymises your data immediately and permanently removes it within 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email with at least 14 days' notice. Continuing to use the Platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. General

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them to a successor or affiliate. These Terms and our Privacy Policy make up the entire agreement between you and Tavro regarding the Platform.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and Tavro submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
