About the Role

Join our busy Manly café where quality coffee and customer connection are everything. We're after someone who knows their way around an espresso machine and genuinely enjoys the craft—this is the kind of venue where regulars know your name.

What You'll Do

• Prepare consistently excellent espresso-based drinks, filter coffee, and specialty beverages to order
• Build genuine relationships with customers and remember their preferences
• Maintain café equipment in top working order, including daily cleaning and basic troubleshooting
• Work efficiently during peak service times while keeping the bar organised and restocked
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support other café staff
• Assist with stock rotation and communicate when supplies need ordering

Who You Are

You'll have at least 2 years' barista experience with proven ability to work under pressure. You're technically skilled—tamping, milk steaming, and espresso extraction aren't new territory for you. We're looking for someone with genuine enthusiasm for coffee quality and a customer-first attitude.

You'll ideally have:

• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to part-time shifts
• Current Food Safety certification (or willingness to obtain one)
• Current RSA qualification
• work in a timely manner

A passion for specialty coffee, knowledge of different roast profiles, or latte art skills are a bonus.
