Full-Time Chef - MYUNGJANG St Leonards Employer: TSMD PTY LTD t/a MYUNGJANG St Leonards Location: St Leonards, NSW Position: Chef Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $79,500 per annum plus superannuation About the Role TSMD PTY LTD trading as MYUNGJANG St Leonards is seeking an experienced and motivated Chef to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities  Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards.  Assist with menu planning and the development of new dishes.  Monitor food quality, portion control and presentation.  Maintain appropriate stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control.  Ensure food is stored, prepared and handled in accordance with food safety and hygiene requirements.  Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.  Work effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.  Assist with the training and supervision of junior kitchen staff where required.  Monitor food supplies and minimise wastage. Requirements  Relevant commercial cookery qualifications or equivalent industry experience.  Previous experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen.  Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen operations.  Strong communication and teamwork skills.  Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.  Flexibility to work according to the restaurant's operational requirements.  Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia.
