Deleting your account

How to delete your Tavro account and what happens to your data.

You can delete your account anytime from Settings → Delete Account.

How it works

  • You confirm the deletion — this immediately soft-deletes your account
  • For 30 days, you can reverse this by logging back in
  • After 30 days, everything is permanently removed from our production database

What gets deleted

  • Your profile and all personal details
  • Job listings you posted (if employer)
  • Applications you submitted (if worker)
  • Messages between you and other users
  • Uploaded files (avatar, resume, portfolio photos, venue photos)

What stays

  • Anonymised aggregate data used for our salary benchmarks (no personal identifiers)
  • Encrypted backups for up to 90 days after purge, then permanently destroyed

Changed your mind?

During the 30-day grace period, just log back in. Your account is fully restored.

Data export

Before deleting, you can request a full data export at Settings → Export My Data. You'll get a JSON + CSV bundle of your profile, applications, messages, and listings.
