Safety on Tavro

How Tavro protects you and what to do if you encounter unsafe or harmful behaviour.

Every hire on Tavro starts on a professional footing. Here's how we keep it that way.

What Tavro does

  • Employer verification — every employer must confirm their email before posting
  • Salary transparency — no bait-and-switch. Every listing shows what it pays
  • Private contact details — worker email and phone are never shared with employers without the worker's consent
  • Messaging on-platform — all early conversations happen inside Tavro. Off-platform contact starts only after both parties consent
  • Community guidelines — clear rules for what's acceptable behaviour

Reporting a listing or user

If a listing or profile looks off — misleading pay, unsafe request, discriminatory language, spam — use the Report button on the listing or profile. A human reviews reports within 4 hours during business hours.

For urgent safety concerns email hello@tavro.com.au directly with the URL.

What we act on

  • Job listings that misrepresent salary or conditions
  • Harassment or discriminatory messaging
  • Requests to bypass the platform for illegal work
  • Fake profiles or venue impersonation
  • Spam or scam attempts

Blocking

You can block any user from Messages → user menu → Block. They won't be able to message you or see when you're online. You can unblock anytime.

In an emergency

If you're in immediate danger, contact:

  • Police / ambulance / fire — 000
  • 1800RESPECT (domestic and sexual violence support) — 1800 737 732
  • Lifeline — 13 11 14

Then reach out to us — we'll help investigate what happened on our platform.
